The first impression was excellent, but it somehow getting out of hand. Grab drivers was not very happy to come for picking us up, sending us here, or delivering the food. They can’t find this place. No proper signboard on the road, road was quite rocky when we first get there. It’s still under construction road. Restaurant opened only for breakfast and the food is pale. Tried to order food but no drivers ever come here before, just refused to deliver our food. Very pathetic for us as we don’t drive here. No TV, no in-house phone, no WiFi. Basically there’s nothing can be done. Can’t live here without going out as no food to eat here. We came here just because of the view from the mountains. The room was spacious and airy. I love the big window and yard.

Words to describe the retreat: breathtaking, friendly staff, peaceful getaway, great value for money, and the perfect short escape. We were truly impressed by the stunning views throughout the retreat, and the warmest part of our experience was the incredible friendliness of the staff. Everyone was so helpful and welcoming, which made our stay even more memorable.

New retreat at Ipoh, quite a relaxing place to stay. I was a little disappointed that there’s no TV in the room and WIFI as well but I do understand Tambuna retreat is relatively new for now but overall it was nice and fun 👍🏻 Nice view too
